New Job figures bring good news

In the Selby and Ainsty constituency, the number of unemployed people continues to fall and is down by 20% over the last year alone and more than a third lower since the coalition government came into office.

Nigel welcomed sixth form students to Parliament this week and the students were given a personal tour of the Palace and got to grill their MP on a variety of subjects.

Door open for future Kellingley investment as Government agrees £10m loan

Kellingley Colliery, one of the country’s last deep-pit mines, has been granted a stay of execution after the Government agreed a funding package to keep it open for another 18 months, allowing other interested parties to consider investing in the business to extend it's life.
