Could your school win £1,000?


Nominations for the Kellogg’s Breakfast Club award are now open. Local MP- Nigel Adams- is urging all local schools and breakfast clubs to enter.

The Kellogg’s Awards are designed to celebrate best practice in Breakfast Club provisions and recognise the importance role played by schools, teaches, parents and children in helping to run them. With over £3 million of investment from Kellogg’s, the Breakfast Club programme – now in its 20th year – supports over 3000 Breakfast clubs across the UK.

Nominations are now open to all clubs, to not just those supported by Kellogg’s. winning clubs will be invited to an executive award ceremony in Parliament on Tuesday 27th November 2018. The grand winner of this year’s awards will be announced in the ceremony and will win an additional £1,000 for their club.

Speaking on the award Nigel Adams said, “it’s a fantastic to see companies such as Kellogg’s supporting schools and communities across the country. I would be delighted to welcome winning clubs from Selby and Ainsty to Parliament and encourage all eligible to appl.”

Nominations close on Friday 28th September, with short list announced on Monday 8th October. Winners will be notified by email, phone. It will also be posted on the Breakfast Club Awards website on Monday 29th October.
