Digital Economy Bill & Measures on Ticket Touts Pass to Royal Assent

Yesterday, the House of Commons considered the Lords’ Amendments to the Digital Economy Bill – the final stage of debate before the bill passes on to Royal Assent, and becomes law, which is expected to happen later today.

Nigel spoke to welcome Amendment 246 and 247, which are measures he worked with cross-party MPs, peers, and Government ministers to develop to combat rogue ticket touts fleecing music, theatre, and sports fans.  You can watch Nigel’s speech below, or read it here.
