Local MP- Nigel Adams- is calling on local charities too enter this 2018 centre for social justice (CSJ) awards, to showcase the fantastic work they do for our community.
The CSJ is looking for the best frontline charities and social enterprises across Britain across 5 different categories:
- Criminal justice
Entrants are in a chance of winning £10,000 and the opportunity for them and for their work to be showcased in front of leading philanthropists, politicians, business leaders at the award ceremony in March 2019.
Speaking on the award, Nigel said, “This is another brilliant opportunity to showcase some of the fantastic work that goes on in our area. I have had the pleasure of visiting many charities and social enterprises in Selby & Ainsty and have seen one of those outstanding organisations crowned winner and win £10,000, I really encourage all eligible to apply, there really is nothing to lose by giving it a go!”
Applications are now open until Tuesday 25th September, so if you are, or know, a fantastic local charity or social enterprise enter today by completing the short application form.
