This year’s Aviva Community Fund is now open for entries, and local MP- Nigel Adams MP- is calling on Selby & Ainsty’s charities and community groups to apply.
The Fund will finance over 500 local projects in communities across the UK, with awards ranging from under £1,000 up to £25,000. Projects can be entered into one of three categories:
- Environment Health;
- Skills for Life.
Projects will then be open to votes, with finalists then put through a judging panel. The winning projects will be announced early next year.
If you know any charities or community groups who would like to be considered for this opportunity please do encourage them as this could make a real difference to the local community.
Speaking on this local MP- Nigel Adams- said “The Aviva Community Fund is a great opportunity for charities and community groups to gain funding to expand and do more great work, I encourage any groups eligible to apply as it can help then in many ways including growing recognition. It would be great to see great projects in Selby & Ainsty recognised in these awards.”
Applications close midday on 9 October 2018. More information about the Aviva Community Fund and how to apply can be found at – https://www.avivacommunityfund.co.uk/voting/campaign/getinvolved
