Covid-19 Local Support Contacts

Selby and Ainsty Local Support

If you need help during this difficult time, please get in touch and I will put you in touch with any local groups who are offering support where you live.

I would like to thank all the voluntary groups, Parish Councils, village shops and community groups who have set up local support networks. They are providing local delivery services, offering to do shopping, delivering prescriptions. A friendly voice on the end of a phone.   They are also helping to disseminate guidance about how to stay safe and protect yourself from infection.

Well done to everybody involved in setting up these groups and to the literally hundreds of volunteers that have joined them.

So far 20 groups have sent me details of what they are doing to support their communities.

If you have set up a support group please let me know so that I can put local people in touch with you if they are finding things difficult.

If you are thinking about setting up a group then, again, please let me know and I can put you in touch with a group that is already up and running and can share information with you.

Please follow Government guidance and stay safe.

If you need any support for your group please get in touch.
