Smile Dental Care have now opened their new dental surgery in Tadcaster to provide NHS dental care.
Nigel Adams MP visited the new facility within a month of it first opening, by which time 1600 patients had registered with them.
The new surgery is in a building previously used as a bank. The building has been renovated by Smile and converted to a dental surgery. The final stage of this was an inspection by the Care Quality Commission and registration of the premises as a dental practice. Patients of two local practices that stopped providing NHS dental care are being notified by the NHS of the new facility and advised how they can contact the new provider.
The surgery can be contacted by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Nigel Adams said “I was impressed by the new facilities and the welcome that I was given on my visit. Progress in developing this new facility in Tadcaster is something that I have been pushing for and I am delighted that it has now opened.”
